Job brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic male / female video anchor to join our team and participate in anchoring our content-based real estate videos for our YouTube Channel and social media accounts. Have a look at our YouTube Channel here – https://www.youtube.com/c/guptaandsen

As a video anchor, you will work closely with our video producer and will be responsible for gathering information, memorising scripts, hosting real estate walk-through videos and interviewing guests.

Ultimately, you should be able to follow current real estate events and present real estate stories to audiences in an informative,interesting and unbiased way.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with the producer, company founder weekly to be briefed on upcoming videos.
• Collaborate with the video producer to choose ideas considering audience preferences
• Revise scripts and prepare to deliver them during shoots
• Engage in commentary
• Interview guests and other members involved in particular stories
• Introduce various aspects of a property and ask owners relevant questions about the properties
• Keep abreast of real estate news developments by studying websites, attending events, etc.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a video anchor
• Understanding of the anchoring and hosting process
• Broad knowledge of local, national and international affairs (e.g. political, economic, legislative and cultural)
• Comfortable yet professional presence on camera
• Ability to improvise in a live on-camera setting
• Excellent verbal skills in English and Hindi
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Available to work on a flexible schedule
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and strict deadlines
• Active social media presence
• Degree in journalism, communications or relevant field
